New Branch opens in Derry

BM Electrical Wholesale Limited have opened their third branch outlet in Derry. The branch is located at Balliniska Business Park, in the Springtown Industrial Estate. It is easily located off the main Derry to Buncrana Road.

The branch was officially opened by local boxing celebrity, John Duddy. John was home for a break from his busy training schedule in the Brooklyn, USA, where he now lives and trains. He had just won his last fight against Walid Smichet, a sell out at Madison Square Garden, New York City. John is the unbeaten world middleweight title holder. John performed the official opening, and was available to meet customers and sign autographs.

A signed pair of John Duddy boxing gloves were offered as a prize draw, along with other prizes at the official opening. An all day buffet was also available. All in all, the opening day was a great success.

The new branch has been opened as a satellite of the Coleraine branch. It is 2,500 square feet, and has a mezzanine floor extending the warehouse space to 4,000 square feet. The trade counter is bright and modern, with ample parking at the front door. A wide range of stock is available, for collection at the trade counter, or delivery by the Derry branch Volkswagen Transporter van.

The experienced branch staff are their to help new and existing customers. Barry Coyle, the warehouse manager, is well known locally, and has 14 years experience with CEF Ltd and laterally Foyle Electrics Wholesale. Paul Caldwell, branch representative, who is a time served electrician has now developed an extensive sales knowledge since joining the company at Coleraine branch in 2006. Ian Doherty, whilst new to the wholesale trade, has experience and qualifications in warehouse management and stock control.
